RENTING A CABINET AT GOSFIELD SHOPPING VILLAGE

Renting a cabinet in the Cabinet Room at Gosfield Shopping Village is a straightforward process. The things you need to know are as follows:

Costs & Timing 
1. Upper cabinets cost £35 per month.
2. Lower cabinets cost £25 per month.
3. Combined upper and lower cabinets cost £55 per month.4. Rent can be paid by cheque, card, cash or bank STO.
5. Rent is due on the 1st of each month and must be paid by the 5th
6. Minimum rental period is 3 months.
7. One month written notice is required to vacate a cabinet.
8. 5% commission is charged on your sales.

Marking stock

Each item of your stock must have a label.

The front of the label must show:

a. What it is;
b. The price you want.

The back of the label must show:

a. Your Dealer No;
b. Any ‘trade’ discount.

Sales & Payments

1. We are open 7 days a week from 9.30 am to 5.00 pm to sell your stock.

2. At the end of each month an invoice showing your total sales less commission is prepared.

3. The amount due will be paid by cheque which will be available for collection on the 5th of the month. If not collected by the 10th we will post the cheque to you. If your rent payment is not up to date, then cheques will be withheld. It is important that you understand we cannot, for accounting procedures, take rent payment from sales.

4. In addition to the cheque and invoice, you will receive all the original tickets from the items you sold.

Insurance

Gosfield Shopping Village does not insure your stock. Whilst we have a good level of security in the Cabinet Room all items left for sale are, therefore, at Dealers risk.

Application

Please ask any member of the Cabinet Room Staff for an application form which must be completed to obtain your Dealer Number.
